Redemption

She was familiar with the obvious pain,
And so she blinded herself with music again.
All she wanted was to feel numb,
And let her heart beat as if there was no lump.

Was she wise enough to get detached?
To know things and not let her be touched
Some said that its being less of a human
Pity! she was remarkably evolved by then.
